Client, which was founded in 1982 in Israel is the world’s leading supplier of premium quality private label tampons, and is dedicated to maximizing customer’s PL Tampon share by meeting customer’s individual needs. Shortly after the year 2000, Client established operations in the US with offices located in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Client offers dedicated customer service, logistics, sales and marketing services to ease the execution of retailer requirements in the United States and Canada.


Summary:
Provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals.


Primary Responsibilities
1. Senior sales manager in the field of women hygienic products, in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Company.
2. Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
3. Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
4. Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company
5. Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
6. Develop relationships with higher level position at the retailers.
7. Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
8. Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
9. Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
10. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
11. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
12. Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
13. Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
14. Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
15. Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
16. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.


Additional Responsibilities
1. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in a business related field
2. MBA is highly desirable
3. Minimum of 10 years experience in a sales management capacity in the consuming industry (Preference to cosmetics or pharmacy markets) AND EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH Walmart, Target, CVS and other major retailers in the US.
4. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
5. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
6. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
