Marketing Administrative Assistant
General Description:
The Marketing Administrative Assistant will support the team to achieve the department's business development objectives for The Garland Company and its subsidiaries.
Job Responsibilities:
• Handle administrative functions such as proofreading marketing material, coding invoices, scanning marketing materials, and file maintenance - electronic and print
• Assist in the daily business functions of developing and maintaining marketing tools for the sales force
• Assist in on-going customer communication programs
• Help administer the company's annual meeting
• Coordinate special projects that are programmed for extra sales opportunities
• Work with media staff in providing photographs, project details as needed for the particular trade niche
• Ensure that a consistent corporate image is maintained for all Garland Industries throughout all corporate communications, promotional material and events
• Assist team as necessary with regional meetings, set-up functions and event planning
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively as member of a team
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines, flexible and open to late hours as necessary
• Knowledge of office management, budgeting, problem-solving management techniques, and data processing
• Work related experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus
